Our Annual Awards Banquet was a testament to the incredible talent and dedication within our ranks. As we look forward to 2025, we aim to build on these successes and explore new horizons.

This year, we are committed to enhancing our programs and events to provide even more value to our members. Whether you are a seasoned professional or a student just starting your journey, there will be opportunities for you to learn, grow, and connect. Our diverse technical and scientific community, spanning industry, academia, and defense, continues to thrive, and we are excited to support your endeavors.

We encourage you to participate in our various IEEE Society meetings, workshops, and networking events. These gatherings are not only a chance to stay technically current but also to forge meaningful connections with colleagues and experts in your field. If you have ideas or suggestions for new initiatives, please do not hesitate to reach out. Your input is invaluable in shaping the future of our section.

Dear IEEE Section Members,

I am honored to serve as the Chair of the San DIego Section of IEEE and I welcome you all to another year of excellence in engineering, technology, and innovation. As we continue to navigate the challenges of an ever-changing world, I am proud to say that our IEEE Section remains at the forefront of advancing technology and promoting professional development.

Our section has a rich history of fostering collaboration and innovation among engineers and technologists, and I am excited to continue that tradition in the coming year. We will strive to provide our members with top-notch educational and professional development opportunities, as well as facilitate networking and community-building among our members through virtual, hybrid, and in-person events. Please see the right-hand sidebar for all of our Section Activities. We are also very privileged to host multiple conferences in 2023. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities at each one of these major events. Use the Contact Us form, let us know what you want to learn more about, and we will get you in touch.

I encourage each and every member to take an active role in our Section’s activities and events. Whether it is participating in technical sessions, contributing to our publications, or volunteering for our community outreach initiatives, your involvement is crucial to our success.
